964 Carrera 2

The 964 generation (1989 to 1994) modernized the 911 while keeping everything enthusiasts love about the classic air-cooled cars: coil-spring suspension, power steering and ABS, yet the analog steering, the powerful air-cooled flat-six and the timeless silhouette remain. The Carrera 2 is the purists' choice, sending drive to the rear wheels only through a 5-speed manual for the most direct, unfiltered 964 experience. Under the rear decklid sits the 3.6 litre M64 air-cooled flat-six, producing 250hp with the unmistakable air-cooled soundtrack, good for a solid 260km/h. Today the 964 Carrera 2 is firmly established as a modern collectible and one of the most desirable of all the classic 911s for its charismatic looks and usability.

This example stands out for its exceptional configuration: finished in the rare combination of metallic black pearl (L744) over a cashmere full-leather interior (YA) with the desirable 'turbo' sport seats (383/387).
