996 Turbo X50

The 996 Turbo is the car that brought Porsche's turbocharged flagship into the modern era. At its heart is the Mezger twin-turbo 3.6 flat-six, a dry-sump engine derived directly from Porsche's Le Mans-winning GT1 and 911 GT3 programme and widely regarded as one of the strongest and most durable engines Porsche ever built. Driving all four wheels, it gives the 996 Turbo genuine all-weather supercar performance, and it is the engine that has made this generation a blue-chip modern classic.

Finished in Basalt Black Metallic (LC9Z) over black leather, this example brings together the two specifications enthusiasts now seek out: the six-speed manual gearbox and the factory X50 power kit, which raises output to 450 hp and around 620 Nm. Inside, it is a genuine Porsche Exclusive car, ordered new with the factory aluminium package: aluminium-look instrument dials, an aluminium gear lever knob and handbrake lever, and stainless steel door entry guards with logo.

It was personally collected new on 26 September 2003 at Porsche Zentrum Flughafen Stuttgart in German-market specification, with just 32 km on the clock. It later spent time in Italy before being imported to France in 2011. The history file is exceptional: an official 60.000 km major service by Porsche Distribution, further work at Centre Porsche Lorient and Centre Porsche Vélizy, a Porsche windscreen replacement in 2018, and a continuous French technical-inspection record, with no accidents recorded. Showing around 78.000 km.
